Wikipedia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fedorov_Avtoma

The Fedorov Avtomat is a civilian-grade assault rifle in Apocalypse Rising. It is quite uncommon as civilian weapons go, but it's good in a low or medium range fight and can hold its own against many military weapons. It is one of three automatic civilian weapons. It appears to have a grip on it, though this is just aesthetic.

The Fedorov Avtomat Assault Rifle deals high damage, and can kill players in 6 shots to the body, or 5 shots to the head. It can kill zombies in 4-5 shot to the head, or 5-6 shots to the body (statement does not apply to helmet zombies). However, it will kill with one shot to the head on anything (except a military zombie) (including players) on hardcore, just like all weapons.

Suggested Use[]

The Fedorov Avtomat Assault Rifle is useful for a civilian survivor, and is a general-purpose weapon, though it should not be used for long-range combat or for sniping,as it is very inaccurate and has obstructive sights.

This assault rifle should be used only until a suitable military weapon is found, such as a SCAR-L or AK-12

It cannot be fitted with any attachments or extended magazines.

Good for the "Element of surprise."

History[]

The Fedorov Avtomat is a Russian automatic rifle that was designed in 1915. In total, 3,200 Fedorovs were prodcued from 1915 to 1924 in the Russian town of Kovrov. The weapon saw little use in WWI but was used more widely in the Russian Civil War and the 1939-1940 Soviet-Finnish War. In 1928, the Fedorov was supposedly put out of service, but the gun didn't see its end until 1940.

Trivia[]

  • The Fedorov Avtomat's ammo can be found anywhere on the map, and would be the most common ammo if it wasn't for the Makarov's Ammo and CZ-75's ammo.
