The HK21 is a general purpose machine gun (GPMG) in Apocalypse Rising introduced in the v5.0.0 update. Like all of the battle rifles this gun has extraordinary range and can utilize optics, suppressors, and underslung attachments. It is a very rare weapon, and takes 7.62 x 51mm 20, 30, and 50 magazines. It spawns at any military spawn location, primary Heli Crashes.

It has manageably low recoil, even less with a foregrip and it can kill any player with full health with 5 bodyshots or 4 headshots. The HK21's fire rate is very fast, and it's ammo is rare, so it is important to conserve ammo when in a fight. This gun is considered an LMG (Light Machine Gun) in the Apocalypse Games, so the fire rate is probably why. It is best used with medium-long ranged combat, and is good for sniping out players as well as close-combat battles. However, it has a few downsides, them being egregious iron sights, and its poor hipfiring ability.
